Today I want to start tackling the most difficult part of the “Liminal” project, which also includes a bit of fun research. It’s also going to require my white board and a ruler. Yup, I get to draw up some maps today. The main plot of this project is that the ACME-style company is housed in a sentient building. Every Leap Day, the building goes through a literal restructuring process where it comes apart and comes back together in a different configuration. This includes floors, endless hallways, bathrooms, and cubicles. Will I throw a cubicle into a bathroom? You know it. LOL

While doing a bit of research, I found a really awesome source for some amazingly drawn maps! Dyson Logos offers this wonderful repository of handdrawn maps that creatives and gamers can use (even for commercial use) as long as he is properly credited for his work. The maps are so good. Just. I can’t even. Click on the link. Seriously.
