Yeah, I did it again (I had to finish it, sorrynotsorry). I forgot all about updating my website like a good, self-respecting word-slinger.
A lot of things have happened in the past year, but I won’t do the boring recap thing. Maybe I should just do the quick tumblr version?

But for this post, I just wanted to hop on and say that:
- I’m still around
- I’m still writing
- I plan on being much more active here
- Also maybe on YouTube??
- I don’t have a fifth thing. I just wanted a round number.
I hope you’ll stick around and I hope you enjoy some of the new content I have planned here and possibly on a new YouTube page that I’ve yet to fix up.
Now is the perfect time to note that I’ve never really known how to wrap up a blog post, which is one of the reasons why I don’t write them often. The main reason–of course–is that I have the attention span of a goldfish. Anyway, I thought that I’d try a few different things to see if any of them stick. Today, let’s try trivia.
Today, I learned that in 1909, when Danish chemist Soren Peter Lauritz Sorensen introduced the concept of pH to the world at the Carlsberg Laboratory, he didn’t explain why he chose the letter/sign “p” and then he (not promptly, I believe he lived for another 30 years) died before explaining his reasoning to anyone. So no one really knows.

What did we learn from this, Friend?
Always keep them guessing. Or maybe, die with a little mystery. It’ll be more fun that way.
Love,
J.
